RebelRoam is disrupting passenger connectivity by making Wi-Fi faster for travelers and less expensive for transportation companies around the world. We have developed an onboard Wi-Fi data traffic optimization solution that reduces data consumption and costs while significantly improving the passenger Wi-Fi experience.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to be a part of our diverse startup team. This role will shape the passenger connectivity experience onboard leading bus, train and cruise companies. You should be passionate about customer experience, competent in the field of network technology and highly motivated. The work can be done remotely, in our office and in some cases it will take you to different countries to visit some of our largest customers.
Responsibilities
- Being the primary technical person to work with customer success on technical matters
- Building strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Initiate and lead technical reviews with customers and provide relevant technical recommendations
- Train customers to use products and services
- Understand and document the needs of our customers
- Suggest best ways how our service can be used with customers existing infrastructure
- Collaborate with sales on winning new business
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical account manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of computer science
- Experience with LAN and WAN network routing and configuration
- Experience with OpenWRT, Mikrotik RutOS, QoS, Peplink, Linux
- Familiar with DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, VPN and able to configure them on network level
- Position may require some travel
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Previous experience in a sales or pre-sales role is a plus
